3rd ADAMAS Collaboration Meeting: Advanced Diamond Assemblies at ECT*

Registration closed 06/11/2014.
Wednesday, 19 November, 2014 - 09:00 to Thursday, 20 November, 2014 - 19:30
Location:
ECT* Conference room
Abstract:

The meeting brings together hadron physicists aiming at ultra-fast radiation-hard diamond sensors with solid-state and material scientists from academic and industrial institutions working on CVD-diamond research and production. The focus is on novel large-area single-crystal diamond materials of ‘detector-grade’ crystal quality. Achievements and open issues of material characterization results are discussed in parallel to diamond-detector developments for Hadron Physics and related fields: FAIR and LHC experiments, research at light sources, synchrotrons and XFELs, space experiments, and radiotherapy.

Registration period:
01 Sep 2014 to 05 Nov 2014
